2026 marks the 60th anniversary of PADI – the Professional Association of Diving Instructors – and the 10th year of its partnership with Seiko Prospex. As the world’s largest diving training organisation, with over 6,600 dive centres and 128,000 professional members worldwide, PADI has issued more than 29 million certifications, empowering divers of all experience and abilities to explore the underwater world. This limited edition Diver’s watch celebrates that shared commitment to the joy of diving and the beauty of the ocean. This watch shape is nicknamed by Seiko fans as the ‘Turtle’ – a reference to its distinctive rounded case form which has a similar silhouette to a turtle on the wrist. The vivid blue dial features the PADI logo, with blue and red accents evoking PADI’s 60th anniversary logo. The ceramic bezel insert introduces a vibrant shade of blue, capturing the refreshing beauty of the ocean. LumiBrite on the hands, indices and bezel ensures legibility at the darkest depths, and the screw-down crown provides added water resistance to 200m. It comes paired with an additional black silicone strap featuring a special print of the full PADI name, made of reinforced silicone in an accordion style – a Seiko 1975 invention – designed for divers. A special tag printed with the PADI 60th anniversary logo is included. The caseback carries a limited edition engraving. Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike. *In an actual product, the case back direction might be different from the photograph.
